③ Available Sizes (Standard Range)
- Thickness: 0.3–60 mm
- Width: ≤ 2000 mm
- Form: Coil / Sheet / Plate / Circle / Slit Strip on Request
- Surface: 2B · BA · No.1 · No.4 · HL · 8K on Request
④ Applicable Standards
ASTM A240 · EN 10088-2 · JIS G4304/4305 · GB/T 3280
⑤ Typical Applications
Thick-wall welded components, large tanks, chemical equipment, piping, and welded structures not subjected to post-weld heat treatment
⑥ Substitution and Selection Guide
Slightly lower strength than 304, but superior resistance to intergranular corrosion after welding. Where post-weld solution annealing is applied, 304 is sufficient.
Chemical and mechanical data are cited from the published ASTM A240 standard. Available sizes fall within the standard range; contract and technical agreements take precedence.
